
Doctor of Psychology
Dr. Angela Wagenaar, PhD, earned her Bachelor’s degree at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and her Master’s and doctorate degrees in the combined clinical/counseling/school psychology program at Utah State University. She completed a clinical internship at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, and a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical child/pediatric psychology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Before joining Montana Psychiatry, Dr. Wagenaar worked in medical and private practice settings in Billings; Casper, Wyoming; and LaCrosse Wisconsin.
She provides psychological evaluations to children, adolescents, and young adults. Dr. Wagenaar enjoys collaborating with patients and their families, schools, and treatment providers to gather more comprehensive information about patients and develop tools to help patients be successful.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?:
Working together with patients and families to help them move forward in a positive, effective way.
What is something unique or interesting about you that most people don’t know?:
I grew up on a farm in Minnesota and I love working and playing with the donkeys on the farm.
