Brenna Cobb, PA-C, MPAS

Brenda Cobb, PA-C, MPAS

Mental Health Physician Assistant

Brenna grew up in Great Falls, Montana where her family is still located. She originally went to respiratory therapy school and graduated with an associate’s degree in respiratory care from MSU – Great Falls College in 2015. She moved to Billings later that year for her first hospital job at St. Vincent Healthcare. She completed her bachelor’s degree in 2018 while working full time as an RT. She worked as a respiratory therapist for 6+ years working in Billings MT, New Orleans LA, and Denver CO. She has experience in advanced ICU settings as well as all areas of hospital medicine. She formed a love and passion for patient care throughout this journey and was always looking for ways to advance her education and skills.

She obtained an additional credential in Adult Critical Care Services during this time. She completed the necessary prerequisites for PA school while also working part time directly with patients during the COVID pandemic in Billings. She was accepted into the PA program at Rocky Mountain College in 2021 and graduated in 2023 with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree. Initially out of school, she worked in addiction medicine at an inpatient treatment facility prior to transitioning to psychiatric medicine in 2025. Her experience in addiction medicine helped her to realize the great need for continued and supportive mental health services and psychiatric care in rural areas like Montana and how intertwined mental health is with all other aspects of medicine and treatment. She is excited to bring in her prior experience while continuing to learn and advance her knowledge and skills, particularly in ketamine and TMS therapy. She is planning to complete the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Psychiatry within the next 12 months.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs and one cat. She enjoys taking the dogs on hikes, throwing the ball, and going on other adventures. She loves to travel to new countries and try amazing and unique foods with her husband.
