Jorey Egeland, MPAS, PA-C, CAQ-Psychiatry
Psychiatric Physician Assistant
Jorey was born and raised in Billings Montana. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from Montana State University Billings in 2018. In 2023, he
graduated from Rocky Mountain College with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree. Prior to PA school, Jorey worked as an ER technician at St. Vincent Hospital. During this time, Jorey noticed the need for mental health services in our community. While he liked the pace of an acute setting, he felt that there was a significant need for preventive psychiatric medicine, which led him to pursue a career in outpatient psychiatry. Jorey trained with the team at Montana Psychiatry during PA school and fell in love with the practice. Jorey is passionate about the importance of mental well-being for all Montanans and has been providing quality mental health care to the patients at Montana Psychiatry since 2023. Jorey also has earned his Certificate of Added Qualifications in Psychiatry in 2024.
Outside of medicine, Jorey enjoys running, skiing, hiking, and spending time with his wife and
two cats.
