Julie Henningsen, MPAS, PA-C

Psychiatric Physician Assistant

Julie Henningsen is a licensed physician assistant with over a decade of experience as a healthcare provider. She graduated from Rocky Mountain College with a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2011. Prior to her PA training, she worked as a forester, wildland firefighter, educator and EMT. As a physician assistant, she has experience working in a variety of medical specialties in the Gallatin Valley, and has learned that supporting mental health is a common thread in all aspects of healthcare. She has a background of clinical training in psychiatry, as well as completion of post-graduate training as a psychedelic practitioner. She is proud to be a part of the team at Montana Psychiatry, offering services that make can meaningful difference in the lives of the patients she serves. 

Outside of the clinic, Julie stays busy adventuring with her husband and two kids. She is also active in offering wilderness medical training courses, including psychological first aid, throughout the year at Eagle Mount in Bozeman.
