Autumn McSweyn, LCPC Candidate
Candidate for Licensure
Autumn is a lifelong Montana resident and grew up on her family’s small farm and ranch operation in eastern Montana. Her love for improving the human condition was evident at that time. Autumn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Community Health from the University of Montana in 2015. Her interest in improving individuals’ rights to access community resources only grew and she went back to school and earned her Master of Science in Psychology in 2021. Autumn worked to support individuals with severe disabling mental illness in the local community as part of a Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) program. Autumn also focused on the integration of behavioral health services into primary care to improve healthcare services for patients.
Autumn has developed a strong passion for helping Montana communities gain access to
mental health resources and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Autumn
continues to support community programs and legislation that promote mental health services
for Montana.
In her free time, Autumn enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as her two
cats, Alvin and Theodore. She also enjoys photography, traveling and helping her family on their
farm and ranch.
