Montana Psychiatry Billings

Conditions We Treat

We support children and adolescents dealing with a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

  • Generalized Anxiety and Social Anxiety

  • ADHD and Behavioral Challenges

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Academic and Peer Stress

Our Approach to Youth Mental Health

We recognize that children and teens aren’t just “small adults.” Their brains are still developing, and their emotional needs are unique. Our multidisciplinary team focuses on evidence-based care tailored to the specific developmental stage of each patient.

Through regular appointments, either in-person in Billings or Bozeman, or via telepsychiatry from the comfort of your home, we ensure your treatment plan stays effective and safe. You’ll never feel left on your own to figure things out. We partner with you every step of the way.

Specialized Services for Children & Teens

Comprehensive Therapy & Medication Management

The foundation of our youth services is a “whole-child” approach. We offer:

  • Individual Therapy: Helping adolescents manage anxiety, depression, academic stress, and social challenges.

  • Family Therapy: Improving communication and strengthening the support system at home.

  • Medication Management: When necessary, our board-certified providers offer careful diagnostic evaluations and ongoing monitoring of psychiatric medications to ensure safety and effectiveness.

TMS for Adolescent Depression (Ages 15+)

For older teens who have not found relief through traditional medication, we offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

  • FDA-Cleared & Non-Invasive: TMS uses gentle magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain responsible for mood regulation.

  • Who is it for? We provide TMS for adolescents aged 15 and older struggling with treatment-resistant depression.

  • No Down Time: Patients can return to school or extracurricular activities immediately after their sessions.

IV Ketamine Therapy (Ages 15+)

We are proud to offer IV Ketamine infusions as a rapid-acting treatment option for older adolescents (typically 15+) facing severe depression or suicidal ideation.

  • Rapid Relief: Unlike traditional antidepressants that can take weeks to work, Ketamine can often provide relief within hours or days.

  • Expert Supervision: Every infusion is performed in a clinical setting under the strict supervision of our medical staff to ensure the highest level of safety.

What We Treat

Depression

We help people living with major depression and similar conditions by pairing carefully chosen medications with ongoing support. The right antidepressants can ease persistent low moods, give you back energy, and make it easier to take part in daily life again.

Anxiety Disorders

Generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and social anxiety can make everyday life feel overwhelming. Medications can help regulate stress responses and reduce persistent worry, giving you space to practice coping strategies with more ease.

Bipolar Disorders

For people living with bipolar disorder, we often use mood stabilizers and other medications to help even out the extreme highs and lows. People tell us they have more energy, sleep more soundly, and connect with others more easily, which makes everyday life feel a little easier to handle.

Insomnia

Sleep is essential for mental health. Our psychiatrists can recommend medications that support restful sleep while monitoring for side effects, helping you wake up feeling more refreshed and ready to take on the day.

PTSD

Post-traumatic stress disorder can affect mood, sleep, and focus. Medication management can help reduce intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and hyperarousal, allowing therapy and coping strategies to work more effectively.

ADHD

For people with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, the right medications can help with focus and managing impulses. These changes make day-to-day tasks at work, school, or home feel more manageable and less stressful.

OCD

Obsessive-compulsive disorder can feel overwhelming, but medications can reduce intrusive thoughts and repetitive behaviors, giving you the mental space to apply behavioral strategies and live more freely.

Wow! I have been going to this clinic for TMS and Ketamine treatments since August 2025. The office staff, PAs, and doctors are so kind, caring, and helpful. If you need extra support, they even have an assistance line you can call when you need to talk. They have so much insight into mental health.
