Autumn McSweyn, LCPC

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Autumn is a lifelong Montana resident with a profound dedication to improving the human condition through accessible, community-based mental health care. Raised on her family’s farm in Eastern Montana, she developed an early understanding of the resilience—and the unique challenges—of rural life. Autumn believes that mental health is a fundamental right, and she has dedicated her career to breaking down the barriers that prevent Montanans from accessing the resources they need to thrive.

Autumn earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from the University of Montana before advancing her expertise with a Master of Science in Psychology in 2021. Her academic foundation in community health allows her to view mental wellness through a broad lens, focusing on how social support, resource accessibility, and clinical care intersect to create a healthier society.

Autumn Mcsweyn

A Champion for Integrated Care

Autumn’s professional journey is defined by her work on the front lines of community mental health. As part of the Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), she provided intensive support to individuals facing severe and disabling mental illness, helping them maintain stability within their local communities. She is a strong proponent of Integrated Behavioral Health, working to weave mental health services directly into primary care settings to ensure that patients receive holistic, "all-in-one" medical support.

Advocacy & Stigma Reduction

Driven by a passion for social change, Autumn is a vocal advocate for mental health legislation in Montana. She works tirelessly to reduce the stigma surrounding psychiatric care, believing that transparency and education are the keys to a healthier state. By supporting community programs and legislative initiatives, she ensures that the voices of Montana’s most vulnerable populations are heard and that mental health services remain a priority for the Big Sky State.

Deep Roots & Creative Vision

Autumn’s connection to the land remains a central part of her life. When she isn’t advocating for community resources, she can be found helping out on her family’s farm and ranch or capturing the beauty of the Montana landscape through her photography. She finds balance in traveling and spending time with her family, friends, and her two cats, Alvin and Theodore, a lifestyle that keeps her grounded in the very values of community and resilience she champions for her patients.
